Jim has expressed his concern for the environment through his music and is here to perform a song he wrote over 40 years ago entitled "Nature is Our Mother" and whose message is even more pressing today, which goes to prove that the Hippies were right after all. 

Melanie is an emerging, Toronto Based, multi-disciplinary artist, obtaining an advanced diploma in 2011 from Sheridan College Crafts and Design program, as well as a BFA  from OCADU’s Sculpture and Installation program in 2016. Her body of work surrounds themes of social and political issues that affect and surround principles of ecology. Melanie has participated in a number of shows across the GTA and United States.

Broadleaf Theatre creates multidisciplinary performance based on local, national and global environmental issues, making little-known topics entertaining and accessible. The Chemical Valley Project, documents the vital work that Indigenous water protectors and land defenders Vanessa Gray and Lindsay Beze Gray are doing for their community, the Aamjiwnaang First Nation. The production had its Toronto premiere at Theatre Passe Muraille in April 2019.

Ian Garrett is director of the Centre for Sustainable Practice in the Arts and Associate Professor of Ecological Design for Performance at York University. His Projects include the set and energy systems for Zata Omm's Vox:Lumen at Harbourfront and Crimson Collective’s Ascension, a solar 150’ wide crane at Coachella.

Orfelina Millan is an environmental artist and creator of an eco-friendly community art program for children. Her passion for art, an environmental and community commitment, and the invaluable experience teaching art to students at several schools in Toronto, have strengthened even more her determination to motivate and teach children to protect the planet.

At the age of 15, Greta took time off school to demonstrate outside the Swedish parliament holding up a sign calling for bold climate action. Her "school strike for the climate" began attracting media attention and other student and strikes are now taking place every week somewhere in the world involving over a million youth. Greta was unable to attend the Climate Arts Awards. Youth climate leaders Allie Rougeot, Jonathan Blumenthal, and Linden Thomas accepted the award on her behalf.
